One of mine and Gordie's friends, Brandon, has contacted me and let me know via mobile internet that a tornado just hit his home in Millbrook Alabama. He is a 21 yr old young man, but is at home alone and unable to contact his mother who was at work (or at least out of the house) when the tornado hit. He lost his cable TV with the tornado, so had no way of knowing what to expect next. He was trying to be brave, but I could tell that he was very concerned, as I was conveying the weather alerts to him over his mobile. They are under tornado WATCH until 8 PM Central time tonight.
He did tell me that before the TV went out, he saw on the news that the Wal Mart had been leveled there by the tornado. I do not know if there were people in it or not.
Please! Keep the whole city of Millbrook Alabama in your prayers, but especially pray for Brandon and his mother also!
I told him that TAFFY! was full of praying people, and he sent his thanks in advance.

I'm thinking of him and his mother. You may know Brandon from the old site as iVision. I hope they both make out okay. I think the roof is gone from his house, and I can only imagine what is going through his mind. I'll be thinking of them and keeping a close eye on the whole city of Milbrook.

I watched MSNBC this morning about all the tornado's that hit AL and FL yesterday..........
I'm praying for the entire community and that brandon found his mother safe and sound...
What a horffic ordeal to have to go through alone, I can only imagine the fear he was feeling at the time (and after).
Please keep us updated on how they are doing! I will check this post frequently in hopes of some good new's!

The insurance adjuster had been out already and had told them that their insurance would pay for all the repairs to the damages to their properties also! I will update again as soon as I hear from Brandon today! Thanks for all your prayers!

Thanks guys! My family is well and everyone is ok. Noone was reported dead. God has truely blessed us. The ditch is on a higher elevation than my house so it hit the ditch, bounced over my house. and touched down behind it.
