If there are any prayers left from Carousel, I could use them. I just found out that this past Sunday that a friend of mine, Alice Hall, lost her husband from Cancer. He had been battling it for a long time. The memorial service for him was this past Saturday. From what I understand, Alice is not handling things well right now. She does have a lot of family here that is trying to help her out. Over the past few years she has adopted 3 of her grandchildren who are ungrateful hellions. She has already lost a lot of weight because of them. I am just a bit worried about her and for her health. Thanks for all of you that are so caring here.

I am so sorry! I would love to pray for her and her family and also you and yours. There is always enough prayers and God always hears the prayers of His Children. God bless you, you are a special, caring friend!

There's alway's room in my prayer's as well for friends and friend's of friends! Praying that she will find peace in his passing soon and begin the healing process.

There are always enough prayers. She sounds like a special, caring woman. Also praying that she find the stregnth to deal with the grandchildren. And that they see how lucky they are not to be in state care!

Thank you all for the support. I will let her know about it all. She is a terrific person and the type of person who is easy to love. The prayers are truly appreciated.

I knew Alice once upon a time when she had lived in Topeka, Ks. She is a sweet person. I had the chance to get in touch with her here recently. She is doing well. She just had a birthday recently. Plus she had just celebrated her 16TH year of being sober.


I had also found out that the same day that her husband had passed. A cousin of his had passed. I am not sure about the cause of death. The cousin's funeral was the same day as Alice's husband's. She had felt bad about that for she didn't know until afterwords.


But over all, she is doing OK. Her oldest grand kid who is not even out of high school and about 15 years old. Is completing her 28 day's in rehab. She had gotten into illegal drugs and prescription drugs. All three of the kid's are not good to her at all and cause a lot of problems beyond belief.


Alice has lost weight again because of the kids. Plus she has three compressed disc's in her back that cause her a lot of pain. With the doctors help. She is able to get some relief.

That is all I have for now.

Sometimes the best love is tough love. I don't know what to say, but there must be some kind of help out there for her. These kids need to straighten out and realize what their lives could have been without her. Hearing things like this breaks my heart.

Sending Prayers for your friend and Grandchildren.... this is tuff to hear I hope she gets the help they all need to heal and become a loving family...
