Full Version: Deer Repellant
almsthr
I will admit it, I watch Martha Stewart! In all honesty, I use very little of what I learn on there.

One tip that we did use was using soap as a deer repellant. Think about it, what does a human smell like to an animal? The soap we use to wash ourselves or what we use in our laundry for the most part.

Anyway, I worked in a hotel and had a ready supply of slightly used bars. I put a small hole in the soap and hung it around the garden at 5' intervals. It worked! They never touched the corn.

Just be careful not to get it too close to the plants you are trying to protect, as the soap washed off in the rain will kill them.
