I just talked to my sister and she told me that her 18 year old grand daughter had a baby. Hayleigh weighs just 1 pound and 9 ounces. She was born 2 1/2 months early.
Please pray for this little one,
Thank you
Carol

I will, thank you all. This little one has a tough road ahead. She was in trouble so she was delivered early.

Had dinner with my sister last night and she had pictures of Hayleigh. She is so tiny and thin.
She now weighs 2 pounds, but has developed medical problems. She was operated on to correct a heart valve problem and she has now developed water on the brain.
She is in God's hands.
Please continue to pray for her and her family to find the stregnth to cope with whatever happends next.
Thanks,
Carol

Hayleigh is up to 2 lbs. 1 oz. Talked to my sister and she asked if i could get some baby VHS tapes. It seems that they run them for Hayleigh to stimulate her. They only have 1, do you believe that!. My sister had 2 and I bought 4 more at the church thrift shop. I told her to have the baby's mother bring them home with her so she will have something familiar to hear. It is going to be a hard transition for the little one, so the movies may help.
