II know this is a strange request but it's much needed as my animals are my children....


I'm distraught and so is my baby girl as our Kitty wandered off 3 nights ago and we live by a forest preserve now. He is 18 years old and I'm so afraid something terrible has happened to him......
My baby gets up every day can runs to the kitchen saying Kitty........then she looks under the kitchen table and gives me that sad face like (where did my Kitty go)?
Please pray he finds his way home soon as we moved and he had never been in this area before.

I just posted a LOST ad on Chicago's Craigslist and am praying someone has him or has at least seen him.

Hopefully he just maybe went acalling on a female cat in heat.They will travel a long ways for that.My male traveled in the country a long ways to take care of the ladies and he always made his way back
home.I will keep my fingers crossed for him to hurry home to you.

P.S.-he is a gorgeous cat!

I wish he was a woman chaser but he was fixed when he was of age.....
I keep checking my email for someone to respond to my ad but nothing so far. I took his food outside calling him and shaking the bag and that usually get's his attention but nothing and it's raining now (cry)
Our neighbors made us feel so much better when they told us about all the coyotes here

I'm putting this in God's hands as my Cat is old and if it's his time then I have no control over it (like people) but if it's not I hope God will lead him home to us.

I'm really upset over this today...

I will Pray that your Kitty returns home soon I understand how much our four legged friends become your baby. I have a Puppy that is 9 and I dont know what we would do with out him......Both of your babys are beautiful Minkotta... I pray your family is compleat again soon.

Well I've sent pictures to animal hospitals, searched shelters, called the police and posted on many pet sites and craigslist and still no kitty.
I've been VERY down about it today and keep looking out my windows in hopes of seeing him.
I fear he is in kitty heaven but still pray he will be led home soon. after 18 years it strange not to hear him meow.

Sorry that he hasn't returned home. Hopefully he's safe and sound somewhere.

I am so sorry Laurie he still hasn't come home. We have a cat who is going on 13 and has been sick so I feel for you and hope you can find him.

I updated the post to say found but I'm logging off for awhile as he was found but is now in Kitty heaven...............No details but he was at an animal hospital and has since passed..............

Thank you all for the prayers and support, he is at least at peace and I have a bit of resolution..........

I was so sad to see this today...many hugs to you. My heart breaks for you. Many, many, hugs to you today.

I'm so sorry Laurie, I saw "found" and hoped it was good news. Take comfort in knowing you gave him a good life. I know that doesn't mean much right now. I still cry over our dog Whe we had to put to sleep in Aug. of 2006. I know we made her life here with us the best it could be.

This is incrediable and a Miracle if I ever did witness one.....

I got ANOTHER call from the animal hospital this morning........they said they may have made a mistake and could I come in a take a look at a cat they have........

I went and the cat that was found dead was NOT Mine!!!!! MY CAT WAS IN A CAGE THERE AND NOW HE'S HOME WITH US AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



There are so many things in life that can't be explained and this falls into that catagory......what are the chance of an animal hospital getting 2 cat's in that have part of an ear missing (a million to one)?

I am so thankful and greatful that he is safe and home.......I didnt mind paying the $170 to get him either, he's my baby (my 18 year old baby) but still my baby!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all SOOOOOOOOO much for the prayers and well wishes for my kitty............This goes to show PRAYER DOES WORK!!!!!!!!!!!
