My boyfriend is spiraling into deeper depression and more drinking. He get verbally abusive to thepoint that I cant take it I love him with all my heart and truly underneath it all is he a good man. Pray that god will grant him some peace and will help him find his way to a better life. whether or not or I'm around. I love his 11 yr old son like my own. But I may have to move on for my own sanity. He's full of anger and spitefull ness.....he says my daughter is a spoiled brat....running around town...blah...blah....blah. She's 11 and everyone says what a pleasant kid she is, how much shehelps out how she cares for others .... except him. I can deal with the slings and barbs he throws at me but I cant take him insulting my daughter and hurting her feelins. Please just pray for all of us! Thank you in adbance......

You are certainly in our prayers, Laurie, along with your daughter, your boyfriend and his son also. Please do what ever it takes for you and your daughter to be safe! I have been in abusive relationships...and I'm sorry to say, that without God's Divine intervention, it will not get better...only worse. But we serve a God who hears and answers prayer, and is the Great Physician, able to heal all sicknesses and infirmities, including abuse and alcoholic rages. Keep the faith, and know that we are here for you if you need to talk.
