Just wondering about a few things. Who was the origianl admins what it someone else or was it actually the admins right now.

Also why did the admins think of coming up with this site, and last but not least. Are you guys currently happy with the way things are going? (all directed to admins)

Now to the members, how did you find out about this site? What was your first impression of it? And what is some of your fondest memories of Taffy!

Ok, I will leave the most part of this to Cc and Gordie. I came to TAFFY! when I found a link that was posted on Militaryshoppers.com. Someone posted a thread there about freebies sites, I had never heard or knew of them so when I seen the post and I began searching. The first TAFFY! link was posted and I went and signed up. Within a few days the site was moved to what is now refered to as the old site. When I first signed up I knew nothing but the way the site was set up it was easy to navigate and was just set up in a way that any beginner could find interesting things to do and not get lost. I was immediately addicted and looked forward to getting more and more involved. I started welcoming new members and posting recipes and the old Admin ask me if I would like to be a mod. Of course I knew nothing on what or how so He made it easy for me and let me learn. I still got a lot to learn but I love TAFFY! and enjoy every minute I spend here.

To say I have a fondest memory will be diffuicult. TAFFY is great! My greatest memories will be the people I have met here. Some I have become really close to and we not only share time here we email, talk in chat and and on the phone. I found a great Ebay seller on here and she is a wonderful person and everyone is just TOTALLY AWESOME!!!

Cc and Gordie have turned TAFFY! around and made it more exciting and enjoyable and they include everyone in on how great the site has become. We are all a family and a big part in making this a great place, clean, friendly and fun!

I agree with Patti that CC and Gordie need to address the Admin questions but for ME???

I found TAFFY doing what I love to do (Search out freebies)
I checked it out for about 2 minutes and registered! That was on the OLD site.......

Most memorable First Impression? The warm welcome with opened arms made me feel so welcomed and wanted I couldn't stay away and got hooked (and that's a great thing)
I saw a post for mods and as I have experience I applied and was accepted.....

My Fondest Memory of TAFFY? Everyday I'm here on TAFFY with the Admin, Mods and all our wonderful Members make for Fond Memories!
There is no ONE special day as they are ALL equally Memorable in a Fond way and I'm proud to be on TAFFY and LOVE it here!

I am not the original Admin of TAFFY!, but I won't go into the why's and wherefore's of that. And yes! We are extremely happy for the way TAFFY! is going! We have wonderful members and staff, and wouldn't trade any of you for anything!

I also found the site by accident and stayed. Than was on the old site. Lots of water over the bridge since then. I also have made many new friends.

Most memorable day I guess was the Taffy Birthday Party.

I found the old site searching for freebies one day and I liked it a lot more than the other forums. I was searching and posting a lot and was asked to be a Mod, and ended up getting really close to the people and loving spending time here at TAFFY! Since the site has moved, it really has expanded and has a wonderful positive atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and accepting of each other and it's a great place to find comfort. I have many fond memories here and I'm sure there will be more to come!

Do you really wanna know how I ended up here? I am staff on the iPBFree support forum, and that's where I first met Cc. I received a pm from her asking for some help with something on this site, well, the old site. She yanked me from the support board, threw me in the middle of this one, and they have all been holding me hostage since!!!

Seriously...the first part up to helping with a problem on TAFFY is all true. Once I finished doing what I was asked to do, I didn't want to leave. TAFFY, and it's members,have a way of grabbing hold and not wanting you to let go. Now we have grown into a three site internet family that continues to reach out to others.The atmosphere here is out of this world, which fits right in with the type of members that use this site and have come to call it home!!!

my DH is an avid fisherman has he lives by catch and release but I'm the opposite..........If I catch my big fish, I bring them to the taxidermist and have them stuffed, mounted and put up on my wall.....

Meaning they are KEEPERS!

Well I am not a Mod but I love Taffy any way... I happened on the Old sight one day looking for Free Baby things, my DD was to have her First Baby... so I was Picking up freebies to help her out with Cody...

At First I just sniffened off the Freebies lol did not get involved with the goup at all .... Well than One day I went to the Sight to see who had posted what. They had moved it and I had to Rejoin the Group...Than I was told I had to have 25 posts befor I could see the Freebies... OHHH MAN I was wondering what I had gotten myself into.... Sooo I posted in the games section playing them all and had a blast .... Than a Whole NEW Taffy was opened to my Eyes..... I LOVED IT!!!! I Loved the fact that this is a sight were PLP Care about each other and make EVERYONE Feel Welcomed to the Group.....

I have made Many Wonderful Friends here I Miss being on everyday right now but am Hopping things change Soon..... This is a Great Place to come and relax open up a pop or pour a cup of coffie and just get Lost in in the things going on here Everyday All day long.... I could get in trouble lol....
