I KNOW I AM USING CAPS AND THIS IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING ON THE INTERNET. I WANT TO SHOUT THIS AND HOPE SOME WILL LISTEN.
WE JUST GOT BACK FROM THE FUNERAL OF OUR NEPHEW WHO HUNG HIMSELF MAINLY BECAUSE OF DRUGS. HE LEFT BEHIND 2 LITTLE GIRLS AND A SON WHO ARE ALL TOO YOUNG TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO THEIR FATHER. A SWEET WIFE. MANY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WILL BE A LONG TIME GETTING BETTER. PLEASE PARENTS-SOON TO BE PARENTS-WANT TO BE PARENTS-GRANDPARENTS-TEACHER-FRIENDS OR TO MAKE IT SHORTER ANYONE WHO HAS CONTACT WITH CHILDREN - LET THEM KNOW HOW DRUGS CAN RUIN AND KILL. THIS BOY WAS EVER IN RECOVERY BUT COULDN'T HANDLE THE PRESSURE OF THE CURE. OUR ONLY HOPE IS THAT MAYBE BY TELLING PEOPLE, IT MIGHT SAVE ONE YOUNG PERSON. MAYBE THEN IT WILL MAKE SENSE FOR THIS.
I will say now that I hope I didn't offend anyone with this but it hurts when it happens and I just wanted to make a point. Also sorry for rambling on about this but this is one way to tell a lot of people I hope.

I lost someone to drugs before also and it can be devastating to everyone close to them. They don't realize how many people love and care for them because drugs ruin your perspective on life. My prayers are with your family for the recovery process.

My Ex was and still is to a point addicted. He still drinks. Been thru treatment, but reverts. So for the sake of my child and my own well being, I divorced him. I tried to get him to stop, but the addiction was more important than his family and still is. He is again divorced and will be homeless in a few days.
Sometimes for the sake of your children and yourself, you turn your back and walk away.

I am truly sorry for your loss.
No offense taken but would like to add liquor can kill too thus I add it to the drug list........
I believe we are all in one way or another survivors of a tragedy brought on by a drug of choice by someone and it's very sad..
Yes, it IS the children that suffer the most and I do believe the longest, this to is sad.
Educating our children is the key in hopes that they will not fall to this false idol (DRUG) as such a tragedy can be averted if we just take the time to educate...
Its good to have a reminder from time to time of the dangers and consequences of DRUGS to keep us on our toes and keep our children safe.....

I too am so sorry for your loss New and to the family. It was just a yr ago May 23rd that my and Carousels brother took his life. He was addicted to Crack cocaine and was way over his head in debt and many problems and thought it was the way out. Today would of been his 41st birthday and last yr come tomorrow was the day we buried him. He also tried to get help but failed. There are really no words that can help but if only one word or one person reading these post can get help it is worth more than we will ever know. God bless you and your family and all.
