Just learned this from my friend who cleans with me. We had a house to do that had just had a lead paint clean up in it today. We had to clean all horizontal surfaces that had dust on them from sanding. We used 1 capful of liquid/gel electric diswasher detergent to 1 gallon water. It seems that it neutralizes the lead in the dust.
