Patti just called and her puter is down too........Her DH is trying to re-install everything as her hard drive got wiped clean out. She hopes to be back up online by tonight.....

Say a Prayer that all goes well and she can get her puter working soon.

Thanks Laurie, I am here but I got alot to fix and reload. We did have a Trojan virus that was caught with the reinstalling of the virus protection. I think we got it. It's been a crazy day. Thanks so much and I will be back in a bit.

I hope the re-install goes smoothly and just think of all that extra disk space you'll have...........(I've had to wipe out a couple hard drives and reinstall everything and its very time consuming.........

Yeah, that is about what John said, he told me it will be like we have a new computer again. I just hate trying to remember what was saved and I had my other email addy saved to just switch over and I can't remember what it was and each time I try to get aol to send it to me I get redirected back to the same screen. I hope I can get in touch with Carousel I think she knows it. She always tells me to back up my files and lazy me didn't do that in the last few months so I lost alot. I have to do some searches to find some things on the web. I am sure there is alot more but I am not gonna hurry, it will come to me if not it wasn't that important. Thanks again.

I'm lucky as I got into a Beta test and got to keep an Iomega Rev drive that stores 70GB per small disk so I put my entire computer on it as a back up so if I loose my info I pop in the disk and it re-installs everything were I backed it up at last.......
I use flash drives alot too, less expensive and have gotten quite a few of those as Freebies!!! Nice for pictures and note pad info!

Glad your back online and hope it doesn't take to long to re-install everything and that you can retrieve your email again !
