The Food and Drug Administration is expanding its warning to
consumers nationwide that a salmonellosis outbreak has been linked to
consumption of certain raw red plum, red Roma, and red round
tomatoes, and products containing these raw, red tomatoes.

I don't think you will growing samonella infected ones! LoL Remember when this happened with the spinich and the wild pigs running thru the fields "fertilizing" as they went?

Great info to have as we eat tomatos all the time like the BLT's we had last night No we didnt get sick but I think it not to late to plant my own again this year. Ordered the ones that hand and grow really big 2 months ago and callled to see where my order was and they said they are on back order (I got angry)and asked if they thought they would be here before winter hit

LOL Min, better off cancelling the order. Never heard of anyone ordering them, but my B/F ordered some plants and bushes. 1 bush never took and died, and the other plants that were suppose to come up again this year never did. Go and get Big Boys or some other tomato with "Big" in the name and you will grow the big ones.
