Sold one of my vacuums today. My daughter said it was too heavy to use (poor thing). I placed an ad on Craig's List yesterday and got an email from a man that wanted to come see it today. He came this afternoon, and I showed him all the features. It was a nice machine. He then says " I want you to agree to let me take it home and use it today, and, if I don't like it you will take it back tomorrow and return my money." I was floored. I asked him what was wrong, I had showed him what a great vacuum it was. Yeah right, clean your house, fill up the bag and bring it back was what I was thinking. He then says "your rug is too clean, I can't see if it really picks up". With that I went to the kitchen, got a handful of rice and threw it on my carpet. "What are you doing?" I replied, "Now, if I didn't have faith in this vacuum, would I have done that?", and proceeded to clean up the rice. He left happy vowing not to return!

that is funny. I was thinking the same thing. He wanted to go home, vacuum and bring it back. lol Great Salemanship Carol.
