I spoke to Patti this afternoon. She was feeling a little better. She was able to eat some cream soup and keep it down last night and today without any pain. They are waiting till at least tomorrow to consult with another Dr about the possible cause of the problems. Thank you all for keeping her in your prayers.

I didn't know she was this ill but hope the doctors can figure out what's wrong and make it right!

I am back right now but not feeling much better. I go on the 17th to see a surgeon and most liking will be back in the hospital for surgery. The drs think my hernia is the root on my problems I have had. At first they thought is was that the lining of the esophgus and stomach was irratated. They then thought it was a blockage in my duodeum. Not they are thinking it is the hernia that is causing all the pain and not being able to eat. The surgeon said we will have to repair it. I am not sure how much I will be on. I am still have trouble eating and though I am drinking so better it still isn't much. The only thing I have been able to eat and keep down is cream of chicken soup but the thought of it now is not so good. Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers and care. God bless you all!

Glad your out of the hospital but wish they could have taken care of everything at once.

Thank you! I got new problems come up today. The med they put me on is causing super bad headaches. They told me to stop it and I see the surgeon tomorrow instead of next week. I am munching on dry cereal and not drinking much. I pray this ends soon. I won't be on much I will try at least once or twice a day though. I am sorry too. Miss you all!

thanks Kathie. I went to see the surgeon today. He wants me to see a Cardio Dr before he schedules surgery. Some good or ok news. Good is I have lost 18 pounds, hard way to do it but i did. The surgery will be done Laproscopy so it may not be as bad. I might have two hernias though so it still may be double deal. I met a lady there recovering from the surgery and everything she told me I am going thru now. She had her surgery on June 23rd and still can't eat or has any desire to eat. She is making herself eat once every few days. She had the vomiting, horrible pain, unable to eat or drink all I am going thru. The dr said if I get dehydrated again he will admit me right away. I pray I make it thru till after I see the cardio dr. Thanks so much again to everyone!
